Several years ago, I copied the pledge (mission statement) from the wall of
a local store. I crossed out the word "Customer" and replaced it with
"Resident/Taxpayer" and kept it in my desk drawer as a reminder of my
elected responsibility as a Township Supervisor.

As your forth-term County Commissioner I will continue my "customer service" philosophy in representing each Resident and Taxpayer of District 15 along with all of the 850,000 residents of Macomb County.

The Resident is not just a statistic.  He or she is a flesh-and-blood human being with feeling and emotions like me.

The Resident is one who comes to us with needs and/or wants. It is my job to address them.

The Resident is deserving of the most courteous and attentive treatment I can provide.

The Resident is the lifeblood of this and every other unit of government. Without him or her there would be no need for any elected officials.
